When Andreas Ekstrom (Ekström) recently won the Swedish “Speaker of the Year” award – no-one was surprised. Andreas has over the past ten years become a globally sought-after futurist, talking about that place where mankind and machine come together: our digital future.

My passion is to educate for digital equality. I want to see a world in which we share the wealth – not only financially, but also in terms of knowledge and influence. – Andreas Ekstrom.

Andreas Ekstrom is a journalist and author by trade. His latest book “On Finding” is being published in English this year. He has been a TED speaker twice, and his second talk has reached more than 1,5 million people and has been translated to over 30 languages.

Andreas Ekstrom is an author of several books – The Google Code was a very big hit also.

So what makes him unique? Perhaps the fact that he is the son of two teachers, he says. “That in combination with my long tenure as a reporter on culture, life, business and art has made me more obsessed with finding the right question that nailing down the perfect answer. I will ask of any auditorium I meet to work with me, to challenge not only their own thoughts, but also mine. There is a lot to learn right now – do that right, and you and your team will be well equipped do deal with the biggest digital challenges and opportunities of the upcoming decade.”
