During her 20 years of commercial and revenue generation experience, Iliana has worked with leading travel companies such as KLM, Vueling (IAG Group), Northwest Airlines (Delta), Mexicana Airlines, Air Baltic, LOT Polish Airlines. In addition, she served as Managing Director for retail on-board (Gate Group) serving different airlines in Europe and as an independent consultant with leading carriers in Europe and Africa.
Iliana Cruz has led Revenue Management and Pricing teams under different aviation models and unique revenue business strategies for the network, regional, and hybrid-low-cost carriers.
Iliana has an Executive MBA from IMD in Switzerland and a Marketing / MIS degree from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Recently, she finalized her Digital Business Strategy Program with MIT Sloan Executive Management.
Currently based in Madrid Spain, she has lived and worked in the U.S., the Netherlands, Switzerland, Mexico, Latvia, and Poland. Among others experience with growth markets including China, India, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Iliana is driven by disruption, transformation, and new technologies. As a non-stop learner, Iliana is involved in other industries in RM and Pricing and frequently attends major aviation conferences as a guest and speaker.
