Liu Batchelor
Producer, presenter, coach and TEDx licensee Send enquiry ›The scope of her previous achievements includes completing 100 Sports in 100 Days, founding a TEDx event in Folkestone, and competing for Great Britain at wakeboarding. Liu Batchelor also is a TV travel presenter, set up and hosts The Big Ideas Show chat show, was a competitive bodybuilder post major knee injury, and runs her own video production company.
At the heart of all these achievements is her ability to turning big goals from nothing more than an idea into reality; all in the face of the significant uncertainty of any new project or ambition which is close to our heart.
Liu Batchelor believes there has never been a better time, or more opportunity, to follow our dreams and find our passion, both professionally and personally. However, despite this opportunity, why, now more than ever, is it so common for people to feel lost and unclear as to what exactly it is they want and who they want to be?
Liu’s approach is to ‘do’ and ’try’ more, if we want to find who it is we really want to ‘be’.
This approach is something she has applied to her own life, through her various professional and personal projects – as well as being a core value at the heart of what she wishes to contribute to others through her coaching and projects. Both TEDxFolkestone and The Big Ideas Show are about giving people the platform and ‘process’ to find, speak and share their message and their values. Inspiring people to explore more and try a wider variety of activates, sports, and challenges was the core aim behind 100 Sports in 100 Days, as well as being a central theme to all her TV presenting and producing work.
